This diploma thesis Insight brings philosophical reflection on photographic media in the form of installation with video-projection in space. Issues over problems of photographic media (locked doubles, stopped time, framed imprint of reality, real raw depiction) are opening by using story about creation of picture of a rabbit on the moon in the style of open metaphors in a white room. Through this myth photographic medium gets the concrete form - in the form of symbolic environment with objets and signs. The whole work is free personification of photograph in whose inside the audience may find themselves.

User Interface for HDR Tone Mapping System

The goal of this thesis is to improve graphical user interface of Tone Mapping Studio(TMS) program. This program is being developed on the Faculty of Information Technology(FIT), Brno University of Technology (BUT) by doc. Ing. Martin Čadík, PhD. The current program is using framework Qt3 , which is old and not compatible with modern libraries. This program has to be rewritten to support current version Qt5. I will analyze other programs in the area of working with High Dynamic Range (HDR) images and video. Changes for improving the interface will be proposed and UX tests will be done. Second part will consist of comparing plug-ins for converting images to grayscale that already exists in TMS.

My bachelor thesis Side Effect / This could be us consists of a series of photographs and the texts in the form of a visual intimate diary and focuses mainly on self-reflection. As in my previous works, I reflect on romantic and sexual relationships, changes in my mental and physical condition, whether caused by love affairs, any kind of addiction, or by taking anti- depressants. The side effect of medical psychotherapy affecting sexuality is one of the top- ics I reveal in my project. By creating my self-portraits and writing explicit notes, I satisfy the obsessive need to share my intimate life - digital exhibitionism has a therapeutic meaning in this case, it helps to ex- perience and cope with my current state. I interpret intimacy from the perspective of sharing a personal space. I explore the physical and symbolic nature of the text as the way of ex- pression and my own body as a tool for preserving and living memories. Focusing on the body I materialise it as the map of touches, I turn my experiences into a physical form.

The subject of my practical diploma thesis is a painting reaction to the photographs from years 1915 to 1930. I see them as a " photographs of dead(lost) world. The photographs of people whose dont live in present but the photographs are evidence of their existence in the past.

Longtime Video

This thesis includes the creation of a graphic user interface for the management of a set of photographies, its navigation, playback and subsequent export into videoformat. It studies the problems of timelapse video and deals with the implementation of algorithms concerning the removal of undesirable effects rising during the process of its creation. To be specific, it processes the interpolation of fluctuating levels of brightness in the sequence and the stabilization of image sequences acquired without a tripod.

In reaction to the process of collecting photo series, I decided to focus on how not to rely on safe shots. I have created a set of images from which viewer can read several meanings, thanks to the overall absence of narration and text. I am looking for stucture and possibly creating new images building on this found structure.

The bachelor thesis investigates mainly marketing, more specifically sales promotion and advertising of the business which is aiming to enter the market of providing photography services. Theoretical parts include concepts of marketing, marketing mix, and marketing communication. The second part is composed of several analyzes which results are used in the third part. The latter induces suggestions mainly to improve its position on the mar-ket.
